Through The Portal

Portal was written during an Eclipse season – during which 3 eclipses happened. The final Eclipse was called the Lions Gates Portal. This astrological event was about metaphorically going through a portal – setting aside everything that you’ve been in order to embrace everything you are becoming.

The songs are all about love, death, freedom, shedding layers, and being willing to let things die for new things to grow. It’s about being willing to let yourself feel everything. – whether it’s anger, frustration, joy or happiness.

The tracks are inspired by heartbreak. A painful relationship transition ended up being the starting point and catalyst of a journey which ultimately led me to walk through the portal, to the freedom on the other side.
